Strawberry Fair: Safe & Secure

Facepainting

We hope that your visit to Strawberry Fair is fun, enjoyable, and passes without incident. We are also aware that events the size of ours do attract some unwanted attention.

As is the case with any large event you should take some common sense precautions to ensure your day is problem free:

  • Don't bring valuables to the Fair if you can't afford to lose them.
  • If you do happen to lose something report this to a steward. Lost property is taken to a central location and may have been handed in. If you find something that looks like it may belong to someone please hand it in to a steward.
  • Drink alcohol in moderation - but plenty of water - if it is a warm day.
  • Wear suncream to avoid getting burnt, and a hat if you have one (Strawberry Fair caps are on sale at information stands)
  • Please report any incidents to a steward. We want to prevent what may be a small incident escalating.
  • Don't bring or use barbeques. They are a fire risk if knocked over.

If you bring children to the event you may want to write your mobile phone number on the back of their hand so if they go missing and end up at our Lost Kids tent we can contact you.
